Use lemon juice to Marinate meat, over grilled chicken breasts or fish it makes them tender and juicy
Add tangy to the salad dressing combined with herbs, sesame seeds, pine nuts and olive oil
Base juice for most of the cocktails and mock tails

1 whole lime = gives approximately 3 tsp. lime juice

Best Part Preparation Time: 5 to 10 Minutes

6 tbsp sugar
6 tbsp lemon juice (appox serves 4)
4 tbsp sugar 1 tbsp salt (for a sweet and salt effect)

Combine the sugar and ½ cup of water in a pan and simmer till the sugar is dissolved do not over heat this mixture and always ensure these cools down
Add the squeezed lemon juice and 3 cups of water and blend in a mixer till frothy or just give quick stir

Few drops of rose water
A pinch of chat masala powder in the end
4 to 6 ice-cubes

If you have Time 😉 Quick Home Remedies:-
Limes can rejuvenate your skin. For Oily Skin only combine 1 teaspoon of lime juice, 1 teaspoon of rosewater and 1 tablespoon of pureed cucumber. Apply on your skin, standby for 10 minutes and then rinse with cold water.
Cures dandruff, rashes, and help heal bruises – On the wet scalp gently massage 50 ml lime juice, leave for 10 minutes before rinsing with water it reduces / eliminates dandruff eventually
Just few drops of lime juice or lime oil in your bath tub leave your skin glow and refreshing
Citric acid is a great fat burner if you drink at least two glasses daily

Water in Melon Quenchers

Drink good Health this summer:-
A cup of watermelon or a glass of watermelon juice provides 21% of the daily value of vitamin C!
Excellent source of vitamin C & A
Prevents Low Blood Pressure
Improves Insulin Sensitivity

200 gms of roughly cut, green skin out & de-seeded water melon or ½ portion of a small watermelon
1tsp of Rose Water adds a unique flavour

Taste test for sweetness:-
No sugar – If the fruit is sweet
3 tbsp sugar – If it is moderately sweet
6 tbsp sugar – If not sweet at all

In a mixer/juicer Jar; add the chopped, green skink off and deseeded Watermelon pieces, Powdered Sugar (as per the requirement above).
Grind all the above ingredients until you see a nicely blended to liquid.
Add in 50ML water if required (to make it more watery)
At last add 1 tsp of Rose water and mix

Transfer to a glass (Optional top with Ice cubes / Chill before serving).


Shake the Avocado with Milk

Avocado / Butter Fruit Fits you well because:-

6. Saves a lot of energy as it’s easy to make 😉

Directions to Shake:-
2 cups of any ordinary / low-fat milk
1 large ripe avocado
2 tbsp of honey or 3 tbsp of Sugar
A pinch of cardamom powder

Scoop the Avocado leaving the skin & seed behind and blend all of the above until smooth and serve.
Add Ice to chill it!

This milk shake will gain a thick consistency than any other normal fruit milk shakes…

To give it a bit more shake add 1/2 cup of milk with a scoop of ice cream…instead of 2 cups of milk..

If you don’t like any of the above try this!

Feed your skin directly! A ripe Avocado pulp mixed with one table spoon of milk and honey; make it into a crème consistency. Apply a generous coat over your skin. Allow it this mixture stay for 1/2 hour as this is a good moisturiser and gives an even skin tone.


Beat the Root

Healthy Nutri Choice – Beetroot is a rich source of potent antioxidants and nutrients, including magnesium, sodium, potassium and vitamin C, which is important for your cardiovascular health

Oh is it! – Beetroot dye is also be used in ink

1 cup long grained rice / any normal white rice
1 medium sized finely chopped beetroot
1 medium sized chopped tomatoes
2 slit green chilli
½ inch fresh ginger & 4 pods of garlic pounded in the stone pounder
1 tsp garam masala
½ tsp coriander jeera powder
1 or 2 tsp chilli powder (varies on the level of heat you want to add to your food 😉
3 tables spoons of vegetable / refined / sunflower oil of your choice
Salt to taste
1 tbsp ghee (optional)

All in a Row:-
Heat the oil in a cooking bowl or pressure cooker
Green chilli
Onions and saute until translucent
Ginger garlic paste
Tomatoes and saute till they turn soft
Chopped Beetroot

Add in garam masala, chilli powder & coriander jeera powder mix well and cover and cook for 3-5 minutes
Add the rice and mix well
Add in 2 cups of water or little lesser water as Beetroots have some water content too… be aware it can make your rice mushy

Garnish with coriander leaves & a spoonful of Ghee

Dive in the Red sea of rice!!
